Job Description
A growing computer consulting firm focused on providing IT solutions for Chicagoland area business is looking for an experienced, energetic telephone appointment setter with a positive “can-do” attitude. As an Inside Sales Associate you will prospect for and set up meetings with business executives for the outside sales team. To be successful you need to enjoy telephone prospecting, have the discipline and persistence to make the calls, follow up in an organized professional manner and coordinate with the sales team. Valuable training and support to assist you in achieving goals and gaining valuable selling skills is provided and makes this is a great opportunity with a built in career progression for successful individuals.
Responsibilities:
  • Generating sales leads and setting appointments for our outside sales team via telemarketing efforts
  • Making 80 – 100 phone calls a day to targeted businesses based on well-developed script and solid contacts database
  • Assist with direct marketing (mailings) and account management as directed
  • Deliver top quality customer service
  • Timely and accurate completion of record tracking and reporting
Qualifications:
  • 1 - 3 years high volume outbound telephone sales/marketing experience - ideally selling or setting appointments for an IT product or service
  • Articulate verbal communication skills with an enthusiastic, clear, compelling speaking voice
  • Enjoy talking with business professionals at all levels with the ability to easily develop a professional rapport and adjust the message to match the audience
  • Ability to learn and perform scripted telephone solicitation, to briefly introduce our company, products and services and close for appointments
  • Professional work ethic and willingness to collaborate as part of a team
  • Good organizational skills with ability to persevere and follow through on task
  • Detail oriented with good record keeping skills
  • Proficient with MS Office and use of the internet
  • Successfully pass a drug screen and background investigation
