Equilibrium’s Outside Sales Executive (OSE) is an experienced, dynamic, and high-energy individual who excels turning sales leads into closed business.
- Acquire new clients by focused direct prospecting through telephone and in-person calls to customers and potential customers
- Facilitate and perform demos for customers
- Understand customer business drivers and needs and qualify prospects
- Coordinate prospect meetings, teleconferences, and communications
- Provide management with oral and written reports on the customer needs, problems, interests, market situation, competitive activities, and potential for new products/services
- Work with management to assess the opportunity and develop a consultative approach that best meets each client’s unique requirements
- Be able to present the Equilibrium IT Solutions value proposition and Equilibrium’s packaged IT support program offerings to Executives, managers and company owners.
- Create and deliver polished proposals and statements of work. Answer customer’s questions and perform necessary follow-up to close the business
- Manage a sales pipeline. Focus on driving and closing services revenue to achieve the overall revenue and Gross Profit targets
- Be knowledgeable (industry expert) about products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical services. Maintain credible knowledge of competing technologies with focus on development platform and solutions
- Be involved in the Microsoft community through user groups, trade shows, and other opportunities to show Equilibrium's leadership
- Some travel required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Management Information Systems or the equivalent in experience
- Experience in selling IT solutions that are mainly consulting services
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Technical knowledge of network and systems infrastructure products
- Extensive use and mastery of Microsoft Office
